Norton and the Borrowing Bear is a picture book about friendship. Norton is very excited when a new neighbor moves in. He invites Bear to dinner and from there the Bear begins to borrow a bunch of stuff from Norton from his slippers to his yoga mat. Norton finally reaches his breaking point and Bear learns that friends return things they borrow.

This book had some of the sweetest illustrations and I especially liked Norton and the Bear dressed up in their tuxes. I loved the muted colors used throughout the story. There are such teachable moments in this story. It covers how to be a good friend and how to stick up for yourself.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the other book in this series.
