What I Loved:
From the first page, the Newsouls series grabbed my attention. The world of oldsouls, and one newsoul, was immediately intriguing. Moral complexities abound and Ana's journey to conquer her own insecurities and change the world was compelling. Infinite brings everything to a head, with tension and danger running high.
Meadows introduces more interesting elements to her world, with beautiful scenes filled with dragons and terrifying ones shaken by earthquakes. With each book, this author has drawn a clearer picture of Range, and I love how even in the final book, the reader still has more to discover.
The most compelling part of this series has been Ana's growth, and you can really feel Ana's maturity in this novel. Though she has her doubts, she's more confident about what she needs to do to save the people she loves. I can't even begin to explain how much I love the fact that Ana stands up for those without voices time and time again, despite different forces working against her. Even when her own life is in danger, she doesn't stop making the difficult choices, always putting others ahead of herself.
For fans of the romance in this series, I can assure you that INFINITE delivers. Tender moments between Sam and Ana are juxtaposed nicely in between frenzied moments of dangerous action. Not only has Ana herself matured but so has her relationship with Sam. They know what they want, and even though their relationship isn't perfect, they know it's worth all the heartache.
What Left Me Wanting More:
Nothing. INFINITE was everything I wanted from the final novel in this series.

What I LOVED: My love for this book (and Sam) is infinite. Gorgeous writing, amazing world building and a heart-achingly beautiful ending. The moral themes of love, sacrifice and living the one life you have "well" shine through in every decision Ana makes, especially the difficult ones. But the thing I enjoyed the most (besides the kissing) was the hope this story leaves the reader with.
What Left Me Wanting More: Nothing.
Final Verdict: THIS IS HOW A TRILOGY ABOUT LIFE, LOVE AND SACRIFICE SHOULD END! I also want my own Sylph and an Acid Breath.

What I Loved:
I've been a fan of this series since INCARNATE, but this time Ms. Meadows takes the story and her writing to the next level. With lovely prose and a fluid pace, Ms. Meadows takes her readers on a high-stakes, heart-in-the-throat ride that includes dragons, destruction, heartbreak, and healing. I loved every moment.
The characters readers fell in love with in INCARNATE truly come into their own in INFINITE. Ana especially displays strong character growth--the stubborn courage she exhibited in the first two books find purpose and resolve, and Ana's actions hurtle the conflict forward even as she tries desperately to solve it. Her new found maturity when dealing with the pain others have dealt to her and the pain she's given to others, along with her deeper understanding of what she's capable of and the lengths she'll go to set things right, finish off the series in a satisfactory manner. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing her in action.
The setting, at times stark and brutal and other times surreal and lovely, contributes to the growing sense of atmospheric tension that permeates the novel. Everything from the snow to the Sylph to the volcano stirring restlessly beneath the land of Heart contribute to the story.
Finally, the moral questions raised at the beginning of Incarnate are dealt with in a manner that is both unflinchingly honest and refreshingly non-preachy. Themes of self-sacrifice, loyalty, and selflessness are threaded throughout the series, and the growth of the secondary characters is notable. I loved how the entire series demonstrates the power of one person choosing to speak up for what is right.
What Left Me Wanting More:
Besides the fact that I wanted more swoony moments between Sam and Ana? Nothing. I was fully satisfied.

I found the concept of a million souls for five thousand years being reincarnated over and over—never someone new till Ana–fascinating. I was extremely curious to know, why? Why a Newsoul, now? Ana was a Newsoul but told she was a Nosoul—insignificant, incapable of love, life, thinking, feeling, anything. Then Sam comes and challenges all that thinking, making Ana feel infinite.
I loved…too many things. From the beginning, the pace in Infinite zoomed full speed ahead with no intentions of stopping. Right when you thought it would for a moment…nope! Sike! Something rocked their world, and threw monkey wrenches all over the place. All. Over. The. Place. Money wrenches, everywhere.
I loved Ana. I truly loved her character. I loved her growth. I loved her quirks; I related to them so much, it was great. I liked her gusty approach to things. I liked her determination to not be held back by peoples assumptions, thoughts, rules, small minded ignorance trying to box her in. If she believed in something, nothing or no one would convince her otherwise. She loved well, and for someone told she was incapable of loving. I enjoyed her journey and by the end, I desperately wanted another chapter or so. I wanted a bit more of Ana in her new life.
I loved Ana and Sam. Their journey felt real and beautiful.
Cris. He surprised me here. I fell for his character. I was invested. I cried for him. I loved him.
The entire series–the storytelling–was well done. It was well-rounded, lyrical, beautiful, endearing, adventurous, funny, and well paced. I definitely recommend this series. It had a lot of heart.
