Hi Guys,
I know I didn't do a book review last week, so this week I will do two. Thank God my computer/internet works at home, because at school we have no connection because of the storms going on. Which kind of sucks seeing as i have some online classes. But no worries I finished all my work Monday because online classes are rather easy... well anyway, This weeks book reviews will be following the last post, it will be The Vampire Diaries: The Fury and Dark Reunion and The Vampire Diaries: The Return: Nightfall. Also I go to Carowinds this weekend, and I can't wait... Oh wait there I go off topic again... haha. Here's the Summary from the back of The Vampire Diaries: The Fury and Dark Reunion book:

Elena: transformed, the golden girl has become what she once feared and desired.

Stefan: tormented by losing Elena, he's determined to end his feud with Damon once and for all—whatever the cost. But slowly he begins to realize that his brother is not his only enemy.

Damon: at last, he possesses Elena. But will his thirst for revenge against Stefan poison his triumph? Or can they come together to face one final battle?

My first impression of this book was alright, it wasn't nearly as captivating as the first one, but I still bought it, so I'm not complaining. I read this book directly after the first, and I was actually just finishing it when The Vampire Diaries show was premiering, so that was pretty cool going directly from page to screen. I enjoyed this book the most out of the whole series, I wish I could share all my favorite parts and tell you what I thought about certain scenes, but since it is a sequel I'm unable. i give this book 5/5 stars because it was full of action, romance, and loss. It had a lot more of the paranormal aspect than the previous one did, and that I liked very much. I also liked how the author resolved it. Unfortunately it doesn't get better from here. The next book review will be one of me... "ragging"... on the First book of The Vampire Diaries:The Return series. Make sure to check it out. I hate "ragging on books normally but this one I don't have a problem with. So as I said before check out the series and the blog for more info.

Ideas expressed/message/plot: From back cover: LOVE CAN KILL. Elena: transformed, the golden girl has become what she once feared and desired. Stefan: tormented from losing Elena, hes determined to end his feud with Damon once and for all whatever the cost. But slowly he begins to realize that his brother is not his only enemy. Damon: at last, he possesses Elena. But will his thirst for revenge against Stefan poison his triumph. Or can they come together to face one final battle?

Favorite characters, quotes/lines: Stefan: hes just as intriguing as in the first book, Elena: It is interesting seeing how she has changed from the last book, Damon: I liked him a lot more than I did before , a different side of Damon was shown in this book.

When I finished this book I felt: Ahhh! I loved this book& L.J. Smith rocks!

synopsis

Elena: the golden girl, the leader, the one who can have any boy she wants.

Stefan: brooding and mysterious, he seems to be the only one who can resist Elena, even as he struggles to protect her from the horrors that haunt his past.

Damon: sexy, dangerous, and driven by an urge for revenge against Stefan, the brother who betrayed him. Determined to have Elena, he'd kill to possess her.

Collected here in one volume for the first time, volumes one and two of The Vampire Diaries, the tale of two vampire brothers and the beautiful girl torn between them.

My review

After reading Vampire diaries book one i just HAD to read book two and I'll tell you i was not disappointed. It started off EXACTLY where book one ended. I actually like this one more, for the thrill and excitement. I just love the characters. Some of the things in the book just surprised me, made me sad, and cheering them on all at the same time. I LOVE VAMPIRE DIARIES!!!!!!!!

I loved the first two books but I totally adore these final two.... I mean...OMG.... I couldnt believe what I was reading.... Elena oh poor Elena...but at the end what happened was amazing.
I have to admitt that I was really surprised at the end, because it was so unexpected... but completely great.
I read and read and read and I finish the four books in a week, because they are so great and interesting that I couldnt resist having them and not knowing what will happen.

Elena awakes as a vampire.  She belongs to Damon, now,
and to his world.  The town is devasted with her death while she haunts the Old
Wood by night.  But by the time she remembers that Stefan is her true
love, a new and powerful enemy appears. The last battles approaching; and
the only way Elena can win it is to sacrifice herself.

This book was great but not as good as the first volume. It has a very shocking ending that I didn't really enjoy. We go more into the characters in this book. If your sad that the series has ended don't frown L.j Smith has made a new trilogy continuing the series. The first book came out a few months back it's called The Vampire Diaries: The Return:Nightfall.
