Right, I predicted bout the mystery floating around Audrina life, but then ending shocked me.
Audrina is a sweet little girl, who has trouble remembering time, being bullied by her sister/ cousin Vera; SPOILER who let me just add attempted to kill her and run off with her husband, and planned the rape. A father who is strangely overprotective of Audrina, and also put her into a rocking chair that belongs to her better sister the first audrina, to get her "special powers."

Now here comes my honest review about Vera. She is a sick minded little (how can i put this in a nice a way...) home wrecking seductive brat, who I contently wanted to "throw" down the stairs. But in deep doesn't I did sort of pitted her for the neglect she faced. But that still doesn't excuse her devious behaviour.

Alden knows something about Audrina, that will ruin their friendship if she ever figures it out. I liked Adam FROM THE START, I thought he will save Audrina form that place, and all is well. But (yes the big but) no, he has to be the unfaithful, unsensitive d.... i mean unloyal person, who put his lust first before his marriage.
My sweet Audrina is basically a story with a dark twist, that grips you to the very end.
I just want to add, i cant believe the age rating 12? Seriously?

At first this book is a bit weird and confusing but TRUST ME this book is really good.

This book is about a 7 year old girl named Audrina. She can't keep track of time (none of the clocks at home are in sync, no calendars etc.) Her family is full of secrets.

She was told that she had an older sister that died years before she was born. Her name was also Audrina. She feels that she has to live up to the old Audrina and that her parents don't love her as much. At the same time she starts to have visions of the night the old Audrina was raped and murdered in the woods.

Longing for friends she goes out into the woods and meets a boy named Alden. They quickly become friends. Years pass by and they eventually marry. Audrina is still having visions about the old Audrina, each vision getting more detalied than the previous one.

Finally she sees a shocking vision: Just as the old Audrina is about to get raped, she sees Alden when he was younger, he sees the boys that are going to rape Audrina and runs away. This confuses Audrina because Alden should not have been alive or even have known the old Audrina.

Something suspicious is going on. Audrina wants to know the REAL mystery concerning her sister's death. Will Audrina find out the REAL truth?

My Sweet Audrina is simply one of the best books ever. Nothing is as it seems in Audrina's life. I read My Sweet Audrina in 5th grade. It was the second V.C. Andrews novel I ever read. I have since read the novel atleast ten other times (along with all of V.C. Andrews other works). This was one of V.C. Andrews best work. Audrina's story is captavating, and enthralling. You never know what will happen next. The words are discriptive and powerful. Reading just one page will have you wanting to know what mystries that lie in the back of Audrina's forgetful mind. Do you know what happened under the Golden Rain Tree?

Well this book does take an intresting indavidual to understand the father and mother and aunt. The cousin is a total control freak and i mostly could relate to this book quit(sp) well because i too have and older dead sister and a father who wanted to name me after her and is constanly braging about her and i was surprised as to how extact the book was to my life well i can go to school as were audrina cant. Read this book and know that for the most part it does happen and have a real shock at the end!

I love all V.C Andrew books, so when my mom said My Sweet Audrina was a really good book, I decided to read it. The book is about a girl who lives with her mom, dad, cousin, and Aunt. The girl, Audrina, had a sister but she died, so her father is fixated on getting her to be jut like her older dead sister. The cousin is also fixated on ruining Audrinas life. Read this book and get the biggest shocker of a ending and will leave you with your mouth hanging open!
