Schuyler Van Alen's blood legacy has just been called into question: is the young vampire in fact a Blue Blood, or is it the sinister Silver Blood that runs through her veins? As controversy swirls, Schuyler is left stranded in the Force household, trapped under the same roof as her cunning nemesis, Mimi Force, and her forbidden crush, Jack Force.

When an ancient place of power is threatened in Rio de Janeiro, however, the Blue Bloods need Schuyler on their side. The stakes are high, the battle is bloody; and through it all Schuyler is torn between duty and passion, love and freedom.

Romance, glamour, and vampire lore collide in the highly anticipated third book in best-selling author Melissa de la Cruz's Blue Bloods series.(

This is one of the shorter novels in the series but it is also a major turning point and finally questions are being answered, only to be replaced by a thousand more questions. The ending of this book leaves the coven in shambles and friends divided. It's a definite quick read, which is good because that just means you get to read the next book and find out what happens next!

I’m not really sure why I continue to read this series. Although, I found this book much more interesting than the rest and I’m ready to read the next one!
I tend to rush through this series, just to get it over with...

This is my least favorite of the Blue Bloods series so far. But Revelations, like the previous books, is riddled with twists that you would never expect. Pretty much every turn in Revelations I didn't see coming and left me with my mouth hanging open, not believing that I just read that!

After reading the first Blue Bloods, I wasn't sure if I would continue reading the series, but after getting to know the characters and becoming more involved in their lives and their "revelations," I'm really glad I kept reading. Every book ends so perfectly, with some of the mysteries solved that have come up throughout, but there's still some mystery left to keep you drooling for the next.

This series, to sum it up in as few words as possible, is like The Luxe series by Anna Godberson with vampires. It has all the fashion sense of the elite, but with a little bite!

I felt for Mimi in this novel, watching her try to speed things up with the Bonding Ceremony for her and Jack. She can see his affection for Schuyler, and it kills her. But it was Bliss's story that had me hooked, waiting as she went through the revelations to the truth, to her truth. The ending leaves much to be wanted.

I am really getting into this series now!  I thought book 1 was just
so-so and book 2 was definitely more interesting and now after
finishing Revelations I am totally left hanging wanting more.  Go
figure the next book is not due out until sometime in October and I
just saw on De La Cruzs website she is thinking there will be 10 books
in the series.  There is definitely more action in this book and you
start to get answers to questions raised in the previous books.  We
find out who some of the Silver Bloods are, what is behind Blisss
black outs, what really happened to Dylan, etc.  All I can say is Wow!
As I got to the end I wanted to groan that it couldnt be done yet and
I wanted the next book right away.  Definitely give this series a try
even if you did not enjoy book 1.

Revelations is the third book in the ongoing series of Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz. If you are a fan of Twilight (like me), you will definitely like these books. It is the story of Schuyler a half-blood vampire and it takes place in high society Manhattan. It's a bit of a love story but definitely has a little more fighting than Twilight, but still good. This book shows a little more of who might be the true betrayer of the group and why. If you haven't read the first two and want to read this one, I recommend reading them first.
