This is basically a romance. A werewolf girl named Vivian falls in love with a human boy. The life of a clan of werewolves and regular humans is very different and Vivian tries to balance both lives. This is further complicated by murders.

When Vivian finally reveals to the human her secret he is frightened and rejects her. Vivian finally learns that true love is one where you are accepted and can be yourself. It is a sweet story worth reading.

Vivian is not completely what she seems--she's a werewolf. She falls in love with what her people refer to as a "meat-boy." (A regular human) His name is Aidan and he is completely unaware of Vivian truely is. Her mother is not in favor of her relationship with him. Vivian struggles to be a regular person and fit in. With her pack close to ruins and disapproval at her relationship with Aidan, she seems bound for trouble. Will she ever truely fit in? Is everything that's going well for her going to take a turn for the worst?

This is a fantastic book that will keep you on the edge of your seat! Blood and Chocolate is a suspenseful and well-writen book with adventure, romance, and action! A great read!

i loved blood and chocolate it's very hard to find a good werewolf book. my favorite character was gaberielle. it had a great ending that makes the reader want more. the book is filled with twists and turns that will make you want to get to the end to find out what ends up happening.

it's like a werewolf version of Romeo and JUliet only Romeo and Juliet weren't part human.

This is one of the most insperational books of my time. I believe that this author new exactly what she was doing when she wrote this, and coming from a young short-story writer such as myself that should be something that would be stood up and noticed. The story captures what its like for a teenage girl to have something that mysterus about her but not able to reveal it to anyone but her kind. and when she does the life she lead goes to hell in a hand basket. i think that there should be more stories like this one written for todays youth.

This is one of my most favortie books mainly because it has all of the elements I love in books: romance, action, and paranormal/fantasy stuff. Readers will love the fast pace of the book and the topic of werewolves.

This book was so amazing! I loved reading it soo much! I read another of he books to. Oh what was it called? THe one with the vampire that falls in love and his little brother is vicious. Silver kiss i think that was it that one was just as good! but no one has to take my advice read it 4 urself!

this book is about 16 year old Vivian Gandillon who is a werewolf. She falls in love with a human. The pack that she lives with is in ruins, they have no leader. They have this Ordeal which is where all older males fight to become leader. Gabriel wins and Vivian hates him. Her mom gets in a fight and Vivian helps her stay alive but what Vivian doesn't know is that the fight was to be labeled as Gabriel's mate and queen. She also exposes herself to the human she fell in love with. He then hates her and humans are being killed after this happens. I thought that this book was excellent and if you love romance with a little twist, you will love this book.

Vivian is not your typical sixteen-year-old teenage girl, she is a werewolf. Also, untypical of her species, she falls in love with a human, Aidan, who is referred to as "meat boy" in her werewolf world that frowns upon the relationship. Vivian makes an effort to resist her werewolf nature and blend into the human world despite warnings from her pack.

Vivian's struggle to be "normal" mirrors the wishes of all teenagers to blend in and to be accepted by their peers. This story is a suspenseful, page turner that is written so well that each time Vivian turns into a werewolf and runs through the woods, the reader "feels" it.
