This is one of the most insperational books of my time. I believe that this author new exactly what she was doing when she wrote this, and coming from a young short-story writer such as myself that should be something that would be stood up and noticed. The story captures what its like for a teenage girl to have something that mysterus about her but not able to reveal it to anyone but her kind. and when she does the life she lead goes to hell in a hand basket. i think that there should be more stories like this one written for todays youth.
