this book is about 16 year old Vivian Gandillon who is a werewolf. She falls in love with a human. The pack that she lives with is in ruins, they have no leader. They have this Ordeal which is where all older males fight to become leader. Gabriel wins and Vivian hates him. Her mom gets in a fight and Vivian helps her stay alive but what Vivian doesn't know is that the fight was to be labeled as Gabriel's mate and queen. She also exposes herself to the human she fell in love with. He then hates her and humans are being killed after this happens. I thought that this book was excellent and if you love romance with a little twist, you will love this book.
