Wreckless...Where obsession and rebellion collide.

Bridget Larson's never met a rule she didn't like. Drawing inside the lines isn't just a way of life - it's the only way she can make it through the day. And through it all her BFF Leah has stood inside those lines and weathered the unspeakable with her. Then Bridget catches her boyfriend with Leah--and the last thing on her mind is staying safe.

Salvation... A bad boy and his jacked up pickup.

Jake Moore was everything she needed and nothing he claimed to be. With one night of freedom and a spontaneously scribbled Rebellion List, Jake leads Bridget down every path she thought was forbidden... And into the one place she'd thought was lost to her forever.

What I loved: Wreckless is a fast-paced story that takes no time to get going. Bridget and Jake had me laughing throughout the story with their banter and dialogue and Bridget's inner thoughts had me chuckling as well. There is more to this story than a girl who wants to be rebellious. It packs an emotional punch as well.

Jake is one of my favorite book boys of the year...no doubt about it. No spoilers...but the end...he had me laughing and wanting to squeeze and hug him all at the same time.

Final Thoughts: Not only is Jake one of my favorite book boys, Wreckless has a firm place on my must-read list!

What I Liked: The cover. (I want that red dress!) It's well-written with engaging characters and a story of rebellion that had me laughing while it pulled at my heartstrings. Bridget and Jake are both easily relateable as are the things they struggle with.

In the spirit of Bridget's list in the book, here's my "list" of reasons why you should read WRECKLESS. Besides the fact that it makes for a great summer read!

Witty
Rebellion at it's most fun!
Endearing
Conflict resolution (Not an "open to interpretation" ending - YAY!)
Kissing
Loved Jake (This counts, don't even try to argue with me.)
Emotional punch
Sweetly romantic
Skinny dipping (Btw Bridget, I would've totally peeked too.)

Final Verdict: A quick read, full of fun but packs an emotional punch.
