From the beginning, I was hooked. I fell in love with Charlie and all of the other characters. One of the main reasons I loved the book was the format. I love the fact that we not only get to know things about Charlie's life, but we also get to see his opinions of them and how he reacts. I don't think I've ever felt so much for a character before meeting Charlie. It's an amazing book about high school and life.

I just could not stop reading the book. There were parts where I felt so distressed because of the book, but other times when it just made me feel really happy inside. I cannot recommend this book enough. GO READ IT.

So I love this book, but I kinda dislike it in some ways. Charlie broke my heart throughout this entire book. He seemed so naive. It's more than a coming of age story, it's also a deep book about relationships, family, and abuse. And also secrets.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower was an excellent book. It was relatable and simple which made it really easy to read. I found myself wanting to see what would come next. It showed the concerns and struggles of being a teenager, such as fitting in and having friends. Instead of there being chapters, there was a series of letters written by the main character showing his experience. I really liked how you were able to see into the character's mind and see what he was thinking, how he was feeling during the instance that he is writing about. It was entertaining because you could see the events actually happening in life, it made it easy to visualize what it would be like in that situation. It was a short book and wouldn't be too time consuming to read. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in reading it.

The perks of being a reader is that you can pick up this amazing book and relish in it.
The book offers a realistic portrayal of teenagers and highschool. This isn't some petty book about the superficial and dramatic lives of students. The book provides poignant insight into the life of "Charlie" and the obstacles in his life. A melancholy sort of coming of age story that is bound to make you rethink aspects of your life. Honestly, a great read.

This book is WOAH. Or, wow. It's really amazing from beggining to end. It's really awesome. I enjoyed this book, and if your one of those people that love to read then this book is for you!! Oh, and a shout out to those people that have it rough in life, this book is also for you. Just letting you know that this book will open your eyes, knowing that family, friends, etc have it worse and stuff. Yet, that is no excuse to do something stupid. Anyways, this book is so amazing. I personally give it a hundred!

Definitely my favorite book of all time. I love the main character, he's so cute and learns a lot throughout the whole book. I could read it over and over and not get tired of it. It relates to real-life situations that a lot of people can understand. I love this book and have recommended it to many of my close friends.

This is definately my favorite book. Its about your average teenage boy growing up in high school. He just wants to fit in. The author decreibes his feeling so well, at the end of the book you feel like you know the character personally. I bet a lot of kids could relate to this book.

I am in love with this book. I have read it numerous times and learn something new each time I pick it up. It has changed my life, the way I see things from day to day, and I think I would be extremely beneficial for ALL students to read this book sometime in their high school careers. It's enthralling and hard to put down, and carries a great message at the same time.

This book is soooo incredible!! It's so hard to explain how great it was!! I love Charlie soo much and i wish i could be his friend this books is very sad. At a young age Charlie goes through something really terrible the loss of a dear friend, then when he enters high school he does not talk to anyone and has no friends but inside he is a really amazing person. He goes through many hardships, gains some great friends, goes through more hardships, but in the future you know things will be okay for him.

this book is amazingly written. steven chbosky is such a great writer, wish he wrote more great books just like this one i just love it so much i read it twice already and would read it again and again, it's that great. i even got a lot of my friends to read it. it's unfortunately very short, i really wish it didn't end so soon and that there were a sequel but there isn't. :( but oh well. recommend it to everyone!! it's great, well good for maybe 13 and above i read it when i was sixteen and it's just wow! great. please please, if you haven't read this book you have got to read it as soon as possible it's amazing you'll love it. The way it was written, in letters to some anonymous person, the characters, charlie's great personality, the story, everything is just amazing!!
