What I Liked: I loved the message in this book that gifts from the heart don’t have to be expensive. Those crafted and created with love are worthy and nothing to be ashamed about. This was so relatable to how I felt as a kid and how I see my own daughter act when she makes a gift instead of buying a gift. It always takes some convincing that it is okay and age-appropriate for her to draw us a picture instead of being expected to spend money to show she cares. The pages of stickers at the beginning of the book are a nice bonus as well. The illustrations are very vibrant and fun and are sure to entice a young reader to choose this book over and over again.
Final Verdict: This is another great addition to the series. It breaks down relatable worries surrounding gift-giving expectations around the holiday season and normalizes the idea that a gift crafted from the heart is just as wonderful as something expensive
