I can't believe I choked my way through this book. The story was completely boring and the ending was so uncreative it wasn't even there. The begging starts off moderately interesting but the interest wears off soon. This book was obviously aimed towards teenagers and the theme of people gossiping. I found that horribly boring. The main character seems to take all this gossiping to heart which I see as highly unprobable. The author does so not-so-great job of depicting a male in "Tory"'s age group. Guys at this age group would never respond to gossip and the many other subjects ie. sex, drugs/alcohol that the narrator often reflects upon.

Overall story: boring
Main character: uninteresting
Ending: just awful.

This book was okay. I didn't get parts and the ending caught me by surprise. I found myself flipping back to find the hidden clues within the story the leads to Chris' big secret. Turns out, he's not really dead. He's somewhere else. Well, I won't say any more than that, but it's very weird.
