I would say this book was interesting in some points. A lot of the parts were very boring, such as meetings and whatnot for Erik's football team. The exciting part about those were Erik's reactions. It was somewhat violent, so I wouldn't reccommend making this a book to read for school projects, or give it to someone 12 years or younger. A 3 because it was exciting and kept you on your toes whenever Erik's trouble was around.

This book was okay!!
I didnt finish it but what I heard it was good except the fact that allot of people die! Its just weird but overall it was a good book.My favorite part is that sinkhole part it was exciting because you would never thing that would ever happen to anyone but it does every day. But I was a sort of kind of good book!!

Paul and his family move form a big city to a small community. Everybody expects them to succeed, and they all do at their own special fields. But Paul is prevented from pursuing his soccer talents because of a strange, unexplained eye incident. So he switches schools to play soccer, and meets some interesting people. They help him reveal the truth about his brother, his community, his eyes, and just the general truth.

Alright, the plot was pretty good, even though I did a sucky job with the summary. His eye injury was a big twist, bever saw it coming. But a couple of his brothers problems were really obvious. And the book needed a good ending to make it a good book, a real ending, like it's all over now. But there wasn't any closure, it was just left wide open. Not too good...
