The book contains many neat facts about how different animals attract a mate as well as how they interact with their community. The descriptions made it easy to imagine the dancing, leaping, and strutting that animals engage in to prove their worth even though the pictures are still. In fact, several times I wanted to look up a video of the behavior because it sounded intriguing. Many times, we see animals acting in a way that make us wonder what they are thinking, and this book just might answer that question. The illustrations are detailed and lovely, helping us imagine these feats of strength and grace.
