I loved how the plot in this book was so unpredictable, it made the book a lot more enjoyable to read, instead if it was just one of those books where you always know what is going to happen after the first chapter.

I like it how Jessica has found a deadly new talent. She is the flame-bringer, and technology actually works for her in the secret hour. Jonathon and her are now together and spend the secret hour with each other. Sounds perfect, right? Wrong.

Someone or something wants Jessica. How do they know this? Melissa has heard a thought that might mean danger for Jessica. Dess is trying to unravel this mystery but there is more to it than the midnighters might think.

This book is a fantastic sequel to The Secret Hour.

This book contains so many twists and turns that it was impossible to keep track of them all. I love how the plot was so impossible to guess, it makes the book a whole lot better.

I like the idea of Jessica has the flame bringer talent, which makes this a whole lot more exciting. I think the lovers, Jessica and Jonathan, is pretty good. It makes the book better, as it would be a lot more boring without it. Sometimes, though, its quite weird for me, and awkward. Not for them of course, but for me.

When I was reading this book, a funny thing occurred to me. Jess and Dess rhyme. I thought that was a mistake by the author, or an inside joke. I thought it was the joke.

This book is a brilliant sequel, and I recommend reading this to everyone if you love fantasy, and mysteries.

Jessica has found her deadly new talent, that is deadly to the darklings. She is the flame bringer and technology works for her in the secret hour. She and Jonathan are happy lovers and spend the secret hour together. But all is not well. Melissa has heard a thought that might mean danger for Jessica in the daytime. Someone or something is out there and it wants Jessica. Dess is trying to unravel the secrets of the secret hour but there is more than the midnighters might think.

Just like the first one. This is such a great book. There are many twists and turns in this sequel. It makes the story so intresting. I loved the way the author made the least thing you would expect to happen. I would recommend this book to someone that loves a good fantasy (like me).

Ok, it definitely exceeds it's limitations. This book is even better than the last and has me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book. The story basically continues on as our main character battles more nightmares in the Midnight Hour and a special surprise at the end!
