Mammals Everywhere gives a reader good foundational knowledge about mammals. There are many animals featured with facts to support how they use the attributes of mammals to survive. The page I found most fascinating was the section about prehistoric mammals and how mammals have been around for 210 million years. This book is a good beginning book or research book for those just learning about Mammals. There are many hidden bonuses in the illustrations to count or search for throughout the book. The end of the book says there is one field mouse hidden in the pages which is sure to get a reader pouring over each page to successfully find it. Overall, this is a great beginning text about Mammals.
