Wow, I really loved this book! The beginning is pretty
sad, but it ends very nicely. The main character Ever is easy to relate
to, and it's interesting how she can see people's auras, hear their
thoughts, and know everything they have ever done. I also really like
that you can't figure out what Damen is until the very end. I couldn't
put this book down, and I really enjoyed reading it. This is Alyson
Noel's first fantasy book, so I think she did pretty well writing
Evermore. The books in the series seem to be coming out without much
wait in between which is pretty nice. I can't wait to read the next
book, Blue Moon!

Evermore was one of my favorite books! I loved it. It was very exciting and unpredictable. I couldn't guess the next thing that was going to happen. I like books that are unpredictable, they make you think more. I had to use my imagination a lot in this book, and I loved it! :)

After an accident that kills her family, Ever becomes different. She's able to see auras, hear people's thoughts and know a persons life story, all with a touch. To avoid this, she is no longer the popular cheerleader. Instead she is named a freak at her new high school.

But then Damen comes along, and he's perfect. Every girl wants him, but he wants Ever. He's able to silence everything and make things feel more normal. And although she doesn't want to admit it, she's falling madly in love with him.

I loved this book! I loved how Damen was so mysterious, and it was cute how Ever tried to convince herself that she wasn't falling in love with him. I thought that Damen was a great character, and that his love for Ever will never die. I can't want for the next book to come out!

This book was the best! I really enjoyed reading something else beside vampires. At first, i was like he's a vampire-hands down. But then i learned later on he was just a Immortal that drinks a speacial drink to keep him alive. I really enjoy the suspense between the two characters, and i'm impatiently waiting for the second book, Blue Moon :D

If you're in to the whole romantic, rugged, mysterious and magical fairytale kind of thing? This is your book. It's different than anything i have every read.. Everything about it is new and refreshing. Ever Bloom is a young teen battling her hardships with her aunt in Laguna Beach. She lost her Parents, Sister Riley and dog Buttercup in a tragic accident which almost took her life as well. On top of losing the ones she loves, she develops a strange ability. Ever doesn't know how to handle this change and distances herself from the people around her. Until..... Damen.

I have been holding out on this series for a while, and now I am banging my head against my palm and wondering WHY!?! It was such a great beginning to this series. I was swept away in this world full of circumstance, tragedy, and romance. Alyson Noel definitely has my attention! I could not have been more pleased with this book.

Ever is the MC. She has suffered a tremendous loss. After losing her family in a crash, she is left with psychic abilities. This is no palm reading, flip of the card gift. Ever can see memories, hear thoughts, and see people’s auras. This would seem like the best gift ever RIGHT… I have found myself on numerous occasions wishing I could read the thoughts of people around me or at least know how they actually felt. Yet, Ever puts it all in perspective for me, and from what I have glimpsed, it sounds horrible! Ever was definitely a favorite for me. She was a character I could imagine myself befriending. Although she had her flaws, she was a realistic and relatable character.

The world turned upside down when I met Damen. Damen is one of those dark and mysterious characters you want to figure out, yet at the same time, keep shrouded in mystery. I must admit, I was extremely frustrated when he kept disappearing. My curiosity was killing me! The best part! He was definitely not your stereotypical vampire! This was quite a relief to me, believe it or not. But her, any guy who can magically make tulips appear is on my ‘I don’t care who or what you are I’m in lust for you’ list.

The circumstantial star-crossed lovers sold it for me. I do not know why, but I am a huge sucker for star-crossed lovers! The fact that they were kept apart because of foul play drove me insane! On another note, the fact that Damen just went with all Ever’s supposed deaths also drove me up a wall. The romance was just so… wonderful! Damen is definitely a charmer. I also really liked the fact that Ever wasn’t just a fall head over heels, I’ll do anything you ask kind of girl. She held out there for a while. I have to applaud her for that. I know how hard it is to tell the person you love no.

I really enjoyed this book. Between the tragic losses, the romance, the slight drama, and the outcome; I could not put this book down! I am really eager to see what happens in the next installment. I am hoping that Haven and Miles are still their ever pesky selves (:! Thanks for reading my review!

Ever is a normal teenage girl. She's a cheerleader with a great boyfriend and everything seemed to be great until she had her father turn the car around for her sweater. At that moment a deer ran out in front of them and the family is killed. Ever looks around at what seems like a wonderful place full of flowers and is mesmorized. She sees her mother, father, sister and dog all crossing a bridge but she hesitates for only a second and then she is sent back to her body and is alive and alone. She is sent to live with her aunt who knows nothing about children and ever since her near death experience (even though she actually died) Ever has new abilities she has never had before. Just from touching another person she can see into their past and into their minds. She is overwhelmed and in pain from losing her family even though her little sister is still hanging around as a ghost which secretly she is glad about. Then in comes Damen a new bad boy to the school. She can't help but love him from the start even though she tells herself and everyone around her that she can not stand him. Throughout the book you are wondering what it is about Damen that makes her so drawn to him. Then you find out when his Ex Wife Drina who with damen never dies shows up and tries to kill Ever... Again. Life after Life Drina comes and kills Ever so she can have Damen to herself but he is tired of it and this time will be the last! It is a page turning great book!

Ever is a depressed sixteen-year old who
lives with her aunt. Besides the fact that her parents, sister, and dog
died in a car accident; that she can see people's auras; and that she
can hear everyone's thoughts, she's a pretty normal teenager. Oh, and
she can talk to her dead little sister, too.

Ever now lives with
the guilt that she caused her family's deaths, and tries her best to
block out the world with her hooded sweatshirts and blaring iPod. Then,
Damen, a new student shows up at school. Who just happens to be
mysterious, charming, and extraordinarily handsome. All of the girls
drool over him. Except for Ever. She keeps her distance and refuses to
associate with him, even after her two best friends Miles and Haven
urge her to go talk to him. Until one day, when Ever finally takes a
good look at him the first thing she notices...she can't read his
thoughts
or see his aura!

Wherever
Ever goes, Damen seems to be there too, with a tulip in hand. And even
as she does her best to stay away, she finds herself drawn to him and
falling for him. However the more she learns about his past and
secrets, she's not so sure he is who she thinks he is...

This
novel was really unpredictable, which I love to find in a book. I'd
make a prediction with what would happen next, and end up being wrong.
I've also never read a story about a psychic teenager who can talk to
her dead sister, which was also pretty interesting :) I thought that
the storyline was very creative and well-thought out. I liked the
diversity of personalities for all of the characters, too - especially
Miles, her gay best friend, and Haven, her gothic other best friend.

However,
I think that the first half of the book was much better than the second
half. Throughout the story, the author plants many questions in the
reader's head about who Damen really is. Even after finishing the book,
I still had a lot of questions that were unanswered. Hopefully I'll
understand better in the sequel. Also, it seemed like too much
information was suddenly shoved down my throat during the last few
chapters. It was a lot to process and try to understand in a short
amount of writing.

There were great things and not-so-great
things about this book, but overall I enjoyed it. The twist at the end
was great, and I think this is a must-read for lovers of paranormal
romance meets fantasy.

I have seen the book, but I didnt pay too much attention to it. WRONG!!!... I should have read it sooner, because now is one of my favorites. I mean, it has it all, mystery, a little bit of action, fantasy, a gorgeous boy (yes, I love Damen), and a lot of romance.
I just couldnt stop reading, I sat dawn and I didnt stop. It was so good, everything about Damen, Drina and Ever... beside the Ryley story....Great!!
An awesome book, a really original story, great characters, excellent writting... in other words: ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL....
Is something worth of reading, over and over again...
