It's springtime in suburban Rosewood, which means iced soy lattes, fresh manicures in shimmering pastels—and prom. But while everyone else is flipping through the racks at Saks in search of the perfect dress, Hanna, Spencer, Emily, and Aria are on a different kind of hunt: They're looking for A. . . .

Hanna puts her campaign for prom queen on the back burner to volunteer at the burn clinic, where one of A's victims is recovering. Emily digs into Ali's past at the mental hospital with some very crazy consequences. Spencer contacts a private eye to help her stalk her stalker. But when their sessions get a little too private, they may forget to keep their eyes on A. . . . And Aria's worried that A is even closer than she thought. When her dark secret from Iceland finally comes to light, she discovers that maybe, just maybe, the one person she's been trying to hide the truth from has known all along.

The liars are finally taking the fight to A. But no matter what they do, A's always one step ahead, ready to crush the girls completely.

The Pretty Little Liars series puts me in a fix - it's been 13 books now, where will the story end? When will the Liars catch a break? But then again, I do love the series. I love Sara Shepard's writing. She knows how to weave suspense into the plot. In fact, this series one of the best YA mysteries.

The book begins with the story of Aria's secret in Iceland. As much as I thought it might be terrible, it was a bit of a disappointment. Then with this fear of THAT secret leaking out, the Liars begin investigating how A could be so omnipresent and (finally!) come to the conclusion that there must be more than one A - the A team. Is it just me or is the book moving closer to the TV series now? There are several allusions to the TV series - the A Team, Noel being one of the A suspects.

We still don't know who was the person who helped Ali kill Courtney in Ali's Pretty Little Lies. My suspect - Nick. Yeah, he was Courtney's boyfriend; but in case you didn't notice, this series is full of suspects. You never know who is going to be A - it could be anyone close to them.

With this book, I cannot wait for the 14th now - it's like a year away! How am I going to survive?
