Today we’re revealing Suzanne Lazear’s FRAGILE DESTINY, available August 2014 from Flux. Before we get to the goods, here’s a message from Suzanne:
Hi everyone! I am so excited to show you the cover for “Fragile Destiny” the THIRD book in the Aether Chronicles Series. (Eeep, third book. It’s hard to believe I have one book out, let alone three.) When they asked me what I thought should be on the cover, I was like “It should be green.” And it is. Green is a very important color in this book. The jewel Noli’s stealing, that’s important, too. I think the team at Flux and John Kicksee, the awesome illustrator who’s done all the Aether Chronicles covers, did a great job. I love it and I hope you love it, too.
Remember, everything isn’t always as it seems!

The cover is intriguing, draws you in. Magical, mystical.
I like the cover! I’m a fan of steam-punk myself, so seeing the reveal made my afternoon. I think the cogs at the top frame the title nicely. It almost reminds me of the Clock Dragon in the Broadway version of “Wicked.”

I love that all the covers are very cohesive. The colors of FRAGILE DESTINY are by far and away my favorite though. They draw the eye and I think the Cover Pickers of the world will definitely find this one appealing.

I love the new cover! The background colours and Noli’s serious expression make it seem really mysterious. Her dress is beautiful and I love her hair and mini top hat. I wonder what she’s holding?
