Among the Hidden (Shadow Children #1)

This book felt a little young to be, but at the same time is really well done. It is the perfect start to a series that is reminiscent to other big YA books, but can be read to younger kids without being too scary. The idea is not super new, but I love the way it is handled. Also, the books leaves at a place where the door is wide open for so much more to come!

Among the 3^rd children

         There is a little boy named Luke he is a 3^rd child and you cant have three kids they say its the law.  

 Luke saw a child in a house through his vent. It was a girl and her name is Jen are going on an adventure soon.  

 The reasons I liked the book because it made you want to read the next chapter, because it stopped when it said, Luke had broken into the sports familys house his first time. If you like adventure books you would want to check it out at your local library Among the hidden.

This is a story of a young third child named Luke. He has never gone to school, never been to his friends house, as a matter of fact he has no friends. He has never been to a school, nor has no friends because third children are illegal.                                                                                                                                                                                                      I like the book because it is great for children who are in the 4-7. I also like the book because it scares third children half to death if the third children law was real.                                                                                                                                                              People who like to read should read this book and the other Among the Hidden. I think people who like to be shocked should read it too. Also people who like to be amazed should read it too.

Among the hid is about Luke and Jen meeting each other when he saw the face in the window so he went to found out what it is and it was Jen then they go to the rally and something happens to Jen but you will haft to found out when you read among the hidden. I liked among the hidden by Margret Peterson haddix because they got to go to the rally and that Jen and Luke would sneak around all the time

Second they made fake IDs to go to the rally. I though it was interesting because Jen got caught but that was also bad that you will haft to found out what happens next.

I recommend this book to people who are eight and up and to people who like mysteries.

   Looking for a good book that would keep you up all night because you can't put it down?Well here's one for you,it's called Among the Hidden,by Margaret Peterson Haddin.There are six series of these but make sure to read them in order.The genre would be fiction.
   The author in this book makes me feel like Im in the story like its happeing to me.I can actually picture every part they're doing and all the chararcters.I would say it's in the past because you can have more than two children and four.The setting conbines alot with the whole story and all.I say you would enjoy a book like this one.
  In among the Hidden,there are two main characters.They're bother hidden children that live their lives at home.They seem like ordinary people with difficult lives.If you were to compare both personalities they're both very different.One is very quiet scared little kid.The other one is crazy and risky.They both have two opposite minds.I did like the characters,they were reallly great.They had alot of emotions.
   The plot had many unsuspected things,and many changes.Which made the book even better than it is.It leaves you hanging at some parts but you'll be suprised in others.There are some parts that you may not believe but they're shockers.
    I seriously likes this book,I would've never have picked up and read it because just looking at the front cover,no lie,it looked boring!But it ends up being an awesome book.I would recommend it to anybody who's bored at home,go to tne library and ask for Among the Hidden.

This is about luke a shadow child. In this book the third child of ever family is ilegal. Its forbidden to have more then two children. luke is a very shy,scared boy  but then he meets jen how is not afriad of anything. Action happeneds and they are great friends. Its a cool book.

I like this book because how third children are hiding in the shadows.
they can't go out side they never had a friend or gone to school.
now there is this kid who does'nt like what he is. then he meets another third child
who is different then him because she is a baron who are rich people.
so its like you want to learn more when the book finishes you want to read the
second book and read what happens.

Once you read among the hidden you will want to continue the book because it is facinating and when you had finish the chapter you may want to continue it, but mostly when you finish the book you want to continue the whole series. The book is addictive because it almost controls your mind because it makes you want to keep reading.
