When my daughter picked this book up I couldnt get it out of her hands. The soft cover and amazing illustrations make this one of the finest children's books to come out this year. The story is sweet and focused and the words used flow quite eloquently. I would recommended this book for anyone with a young girl - beware though - you may be reading it every night!!

This beautiful book is a favorite of my daughters. She is six and insist it be read to her each night. The pictures are absolutely brilliant - I love Linda Crockett's work - and the text flows freely and creates a wonderful, magical world. If you are a fan of unicorns, this is a must-have!

This is indeed one of the most beautiful books Ive ever seen. Its a magical world that my daughter escapes into every night before she goes to bed. (She picks it from the pile without fail) I would highly recommend this book to everyone with a little girl in their life. Five stars.

Each night, after shes tucked in, Abigail goes on amazing adventures. Tonight, she dons her princess dress and crown, grabs her wand, and is ready to go.
Thanks to the help of Lord William, she arrives in a clearing just in time for the unicorn races. Princess Abigail watches with all the fairies and elves as colorful unicorns zoom through the night sky.
Afterward, there are cupcakes and goodies for all the magical friends to enjoy.
Clearly Purple Sky Publishing takes pride in packaging, because this is a gorgeous book by anyones standards. The glossy pages and sparkling, cushioned cover is sure to attract little girls at story time.
Linda Crocketts illustrations use a soft hand and an impressionist technique of blending color and light. She gives many of the faces, especially those of fairies, fine details that make me wonder if theyre rendered from photographs of real children.
The writing is full of adjectives and adverbs, making it syrupy sweet, but thats right in line with the charming, purply pink world of magic that the book seems to aim for.
This book will stand out on shelves.
