TIPTOE TIGER is an adorable, interactive picture book. The story follows a young tiger Tara as she goes exploring at bedtime because she cannot sleep. As she encounters different insects and animals in the forest, readers are invited to tell her to tiptoe, flap their arms like a butterfly, and stretch their arms wide to show long a monkey tail is, as well as other small actions and sounds. The story ends with Tara falling asleep with a parent.

What I loved: This is such a cute and fun idea that invites little ones to participate in the story. Children are sure to get into the various actions and sounds that they are told to do along the way. It culminates in asking them to yawn like a tired tiger cub before whispering good night, which is a great way to help little ones settle down. The picture book is filled with neon colors and adorable animals in the jungle that will appeal to young readers. The story is great for toddlers and preschoolers.

Final verdict: With neon illustrations and delightful animals, TIPTOE TIGER is an engaging, interactive picture book that brings children into the story. Recommend for toddlers and preschoolers.
