What if you met someone that for some strange reason you allowed to break all you'r rules? Maybe rules like no eating in your car, or no serious relationships? Well for Remy Dexter defied all the rules she set for herself. After watching her mom go throught SIX marriages sh can't help but keep herself for falling for anyone to protect herself. So she build up a hard exterior full of sarcasim and buntness that no guy could brake. Til Dexter came along relationships for Remy where sex and fun. Then Dexter came along who she hasn't even slept with yet, and she truly falls for him. All the drama wrapped up in breaking Remy's tuff as nails attitude and cover is an amazing read, and the love story behind it all is worth ever minute of reading. I read the book cover to cover. Yeah, it was that good!

awww..is all i could think about when i read this book... it has romance, and it is also sad, which i dont like. it is about a girl named Remy that goes thought boys like they are purses. she used they then throws them in the closet. but when she mets someone.. she cant seam to break up with him.. but does she? you will have to find out, if you wanna read this book and i highly recommend this book to any young adult reader who loves to fall in love.

Wow this book is an amazing book. The Girl Remy meets this guy who is way differant from her. The guy remy Likes is Dexter and He's in a band a rock band to be exact. I think this book is pretty awsome the first time i read it i could not and i repeat i could no put it down. The characters sound so cool to me, and it's also really funny, and to top it all off both the characters are so differant from each other that to me makes it more interresting.

  Remy does not believe in happily ever after relationships.
She believes that no two people belong together forever, she has not
been given much proof to believe otherwise since her mother is going on
her fifth marriage. She does not have the greatest reputation
either, as the cold hearted, rich chick. She is about to leave for
college and thinks no ties should come with her. She meets clumsy,
oh-so positive, unorganized Dexter, who throws her off balance from her typical routine and outline of past relationships. Remy must realize that a relationship should not run on an outline, but instead should be let to run it's course.
  I recommend this book to everyone. It has a bit of everything, the grungy band dudes, the party girl with a bad rep, friendship and love. Dessen is amazing.

OH MY GOD, I just love this book! This was the first  Sarah Dessen's book i have read! And i'm 100% reading all of her books! I love Dexter and Remy they are so cute together! I just love them.  Each of
Dessen's novels are absolutely amazing, you can't put it down until
it's finished.

All of Sarah Dessens books are AMAZING! i have read them all and there is not a single one that i wouldnt sare with my friends. i love how they all tell about the problems that people go threw. like eatting disoders and being addicted to drugs. and even just every day drama. it really makes you think about what other people may be going through. it gives you a different view of the world in each book. i also love how every book is conected in some way. like in Just Listen, Owen and Annabel go to a club to watch the band that Dexter is in. i think ive read every single one of these books in one day. its just so hard to put them down!!

Remy Starr, a young gradate from high school who doesnt believe in love. After seeing her mothers many failed marriages. The she meets Dexter Jones, lead singer of the Truth Squad. Remy is settled she will never fall in loves and she doesnt love Dexter. That hes just a summer fling and nothing more. In the end they have a relationship

The story contains the beauty of love. I really did have a great time reading the book. Sarah Dessen gives the virtue of love in every page. Love is beauty.

This Lullaby is a GREAT book. I've heard that Sarah Dessen is one of the greatest writers of our generation, but didn't believe it. Until now. I just finished reading this book, and wow she really knows how to relate to all her young adult readers.
This Lullaby is about a teenage girl, Remy, who just graduated high school. During the duration of the three months before she begins college, she deals with: her mothers new marriage to husband number five,  hanging out with her friends before they all start their new lives, and with boys.
Usually, Remy has the upper hand in her relationships. She's the who always does the dumping. Tough that changes when she meets Dexter. He's messy, clumsy, and he's a musician. These are all things that she doesn't like in guys. The only problem is that she can't seem to end things with him. There's just something about him that gets to her.

Unfortunately, you're going to have to read the book to find out the outcome. I recommend that you read this book. Join Remy going through the challenges of her mothers relationship while trying to understand what is happening to her. This is a great book. You will not be disappointed.

From the very first time that Dexter spoke to Remy I absolutely knew I was in for a very romantic and thrilling ride!!! (Pardon the pun: Along for the Ride, another one of Sarah Dessen's beautifully awesome novels) This book was my first Sarah Dessen novel that I had read, and I was more than happy with the outcome of reading this first! I absolutely loved Dexter, and wonder to myself how Sarah creates such amazing guy characters that make all of us girls swoon!!! The plot itself was adoringly sweet and I loved the ending also!!! It is definitely a must read for all of you hopeless romantics out there!
