I very much enjoyed this-- the entire series, really. Ann Brashares has such an ease with her writing,--- it's something I really admire. I always identify with Lena, Carmen, Tibby, and Bridget, all in different ways. These books show how unique people can come together and form a beautiful friendship. With so many doubts about people and just life in general, it is nice to read something that assures you that there are good people in the world. The situations in this book are fun, and though the story isn't entirely believable, I still love it! It's an exciting adventure and I love the format of the books-- they make for an easy and enjoyable read.

Recommend!

I, personally, love this entire series, but none of the sequels even begin to top the original book.
This was one of the most realistic teen books I've read before, and I truly felt as if I were there with the characters. I was there with Tibby and Bailey. I was their with Lena in Greek. I was right there beside Bridget at soccer camp, and I was standing behind Carmen as she looked in the window at her father's new life.

You will love this book, if you don't already.

I love this book!!! It's the best everrr! In fact I loved it so much I bought it. I've read it many many times. It's about four girls who are best friends and their story. They each are unique with their own story to tell. With Carmen going t her dad's place for the summer, Bridget going to soccer camp, Lena going to Greece, and Tibby staying home there isn't anything this book can't do. It has twisting plots that'll pull you in deeper every time.

Lena, Bridget, Tibby, and Carmen are the best of friends, since before they were born. Even thier moms were friends. They had never been seperated before, until one summer when everyon goes some where different. They worry about how they will stay connected until they find a pair of pants that fits them all perfecly, and they are ll set out on jouneys where they learn about love, life, family, and friendships.

This book was great. I loved it. It really reminds me of my friends, which makes it even better. It was a very emotional book. I would definently recommend thisbook to girls.

This novel is about four friends who have been together for their lifetimes. Even before! Anyway, they have one summer that splits them up and sends them into various adventures. But, before they leave their hometown (except for Tibby.) They find a pair of pants that fits them all perfectly. They seem to be "magical" and "lucky". But sometimes it makes them wonder why they thought this. But, other times, they completely agree. Read this wonderful novel and you will discover fun and love in this story!!

One hot summer day, four girls go shopping and what do they find? One hot pair of denim pants that magically fit each girl perfectly; length, width, size and all!

The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants follows four girls: Lena, Bridget, Carmen and Tibby on their crazy summer adventures. Shy Lena travels to Greece to have a better understanding of her culture while Bridget ships off to the hot winds of Mexico for soccer camp. Carmen spends the summer with what she thinks will be only her dad and him alone as Tibby is stuck at Wallmans making a "suckumentary". The pants are sent all over the world to each girl bringing with it love, new friendships and summer fun! Find this book and go on the journey with these girls!

Ann Brashares has brilliantly captured what it means to be a teenage girl and the special relationships that they have with close friends. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it for young teenage girls who 'just wanna have fun'!

This book was awsome. I really liked how, even though they were gone they were still "together"
It was a good book with a little love and a few sad parts but still one of the books that even though it was long, I still finished in two days and wished it would have gone on. So i read the second book.....

In a book full of laughter these four best friends learn what it means to be apart for a summer. This is a great book because you get to find out what each girl thinks about, what they are doing in the summer. And how they communicate through letters and the pair of pants. That magicaly fit all four of these girls. At the end of the summer they each gain something diffrent from all the people they meet, lost or got to know better.
