This book is wonderful. It is a really nice story of the sisterly love they show towards each other. It also shows you that we are all unique in a special way. As well as the troubles we have becoming of age and getting added responsabilities emotionally and Physically.

The Series is just an inspiration to us all to stick together and live our livesto the fullest.

I'd have to admit that this book was quite boring at first. I actually stopped reading it for a month then picked up on it again later. The first few chapters are a snooze but believe me it gets better. It's just a tale of friends growing up and trying not to grow apart. I love the quotes found in the book they really are insperationl, true, and funny. This book has a sequal The Second Summer of the Sisterhood that you should deffinatly read if you enjoy The First Summer. Really this book is all just to real. It isn't about girls that live an rich or famous life like Gossip Girl. It's just a tale of friends, maybe like your own. Over all it was good.
