What I liked:
With a great storyline and beautiful illustrations, this was a fun adventure in what you would believe to be a standard library that holds the secret to so much more. The images are picturesque, enticing young readers to see what is on the next page. I love how the bookshelf dragon is a literal bookshelf dragon, with curious Oliver clambering over it to exit the titular lost Library, with Sophie lulling the dragon to sleep by reading it a story since everyone likes to listen to a report. The bonus to this is the author inviting you to reread it to find all the dragons hidden within the pages of this book.
Final Verdict:
The Lost Library will be a fast favorite for young children, and I am sure it will entice them to want to find more stories about adventures in books or libraries. So pick this one up today and hunt for your bookshelf dragon.
