First of all can I just say how bright and amazing the illustrations are?! Seriously. Every page is enveloped in wonderful color that grabs your attention. We loved the illustrations!

This is a cute tale of two friends who go on a walk. Along the way they meet up with family members, have some dress up time, eat and play.

This book is perfect for those young readers who are beginning to read chapter books, yet challenging enough to keep the higher readers interested, too. My 6 year old loved trying to read all the words, and my 8 year old avid reader loved the book as well. I'm excited that this is a series of books and look forward to more books about Monkey and Elephant!
