What worked: A good practical guide and a good start for those curious about such things as tarot readings, witchcraft, astrology, and much more. This book uses a collection of eclectic sources that help guide readers toward self-fulfillment and discovery.

The author touches on a number of subjects that are open-minded in their approach to taking care of yourself. There's a section on the tarot and not only what the different cards mean, but how to do your own reading. The section on energy and spirit guides goes over empaths and HSP-highly sensitive people. What I liked was how the author not only describes what an empath is but how important it is to take care of yourselves and realize that it can be draining to be around those who take a lot out of you.

The Astrology chapter goes over other factors when determining someone's sign like natal charts, where you need your birth date, time, and place. Fascinating information.

There's also a chapter on body positivity and how others throughout time have pressured the media on what is and isn't acceptable. I personally felt this chapter is very important, especially with how some social media sites with their unrealistic portrayals of the 'perfect' body are anything but that.

At the end of each chapter are exercises to do. For example at the end of the tarot section is one exercise to do a Celtic Cross spread for yourself. In the Creativity section, there is an exercise on making your own inspiration board on what inspires you.

Intriguing, insightful personal map of different tools to help bring your own magic into your life.
