This is a by far one of the best books in the series. New adventures and risks approach Zoey when she truly knows that Neferet is evil. Sadly for Zoey it is hard for her since all of her friends hate her except for Aphrodite (who is actually nice now) and Stevie Rae.

Another boy Stark is introduced and yup here comes a love triangle all over again. I like love triangles, but not like this. I really wish the Cast's would give it a break already. (trust me it gets bad in the next books) Otherwise, the love triangles, this book is great and I highly recommend for the House of Night fans.

The suspence in the book is great (especially at the end). The book is certianly not boring, it kept me wanting to read on and seeing what happens next! I wonder how the Cast's come up with all these ideas to keep the book looking good.

Zoey Redbird, a fledging at the House of Night, has friends who are completely pissed off at her. In one week, she went from three boyfriends to have none and from having a group of friends who trusted her to being an outcast. Life sucks, doesnt it, Zoey? However, the only two friends she has left are undead and unMarked. When Neferet declares a war on the humans, Zoey knows that she must tell someone about it but who will listen to her after everything? Her adventure takes a wild turn as loyalties are tested; true intentions are made known and an ancient evil so great that is being awakened. From the third to the fourth book in the series, the book is a lot more sinister as well as more serious than any of the others. Zoey seems much more mature as well as less whiny. This is probably the best book that I have read in the series since it is so fast paced. However, Zoeys friends still seems a bit shallow since they do not realize that Zoey was trying to save them from danger but instead, they thought she was hiding things from them and so, she became friendless. But at the end of the book, all the characters definitely mature a lot more with the events that are occurring. I highly recommend this book as well as this series.

This book and series were amazing. I've read all the way from Marked to Tempted and never once was I bored. Untamed introduced one of my favourite characters, known as Stark. He is such a good character and adds to Zoeys boyfriend troubles. What's a good story without something relatable? Along with Stark, the same old characters (Erik, Heath, Damien, Jack, Zoey, Stevie Rae, Aphrodite, Shaunee, and Erin) were at it again. Fighting evil one step at a time. One of the better books in the series.

Right off the bat, this is my favorite book of The House of Night series. Yes, its only book 4, but it is fantastic. This book doesnt deal with Zoeys love life as much as the others have. Im all for the ooey-gooey bits, but this one does well without her having a boy (or man) in her life. It focuses on Zoey coming into her own and she is beginning to portray the high priestess that she really is.

A new character, Stark, is introduced, but his part is just too short in this book, so Im hoping there will be more to come of him in the future books. Neferet has truly gone evil and Aphrodite is, gasp, nice! I finally like Aphrodite and am happy to read about her snobby self without wanting to smack her. Zoeys Grandma comes to stay at The House of Night and it is easy to feel the love all of the fledglings feel towards this woman. The Casts did a wonderful job of weaving Cherokee stories into the book for both background purposes and featuring the tales up front and center.

The novel is a quick read because its just so hard to put it down. The book comes to a close in the midst of the action and you are left unaware of whats happened to some of the characters outside of the main group of friends. It is the biggest cliffhanger of the series thus far, leaving us waiting to find out how Zoey will save the world.

I won't go over my usual complaints about Zoey this time, I promise. Untamed was annoying at the beginning because I didn't fully understand why her friends shunned her. They should have taken the time to listen to her and try to understand her. Neferert is really angering me but in the end this anger is just throwing me more into the story. There was a lot more mystery in Untamed as well, which to me, means that it's my favorite of the series so far. This would also have to be my favorite cover so far. Isn't it just fantastic? I really love them all though. So pretty! The ending left me on the edge and really excited to read Hunted. The Casts are able to create a story that keeps you entranced the whole way through with amazement and ideas floating throught your head.

I really enjoyed the house of night series, I love all the characters and it was easy to get lost in the book and just read for hours and hours. Ihad just finished reading the twilight series( which is awesome) and this series is almost better, there's romance, action, magic and friendship.

So this one picks up right where the other left off and don't worry if you haven't read the others in a while, this books spends the most time playing catch up. It will tell you ever major detail of the last books and even some of the minor books. This felt like a filer book to me. Going from one to the other and nothing too much happens until the end.

I did love seeing Zoey and Aphrodite's relationship. I liked that it wasn't something you'd see in every other book. I also love their banter when they talk to each other, it's funny.

What I love most about these books is how the Native American influence they use. Now I'm not Cherokee (I'm Apache) but it's still nice to see some of the Native stuff. I enjoy it very much.

I do feel Zoey grew in this novel some and I liked that. She felt less self centered and a little less worried over dudes. Which, don't get me wrong, I won't read a novel unless there is some kind of romance but three dudes? That's a bit much to me.

I also love seeing Stevie Rae coming to terms with what she is now and trying to help the others. I really love her character, she's sweet as apple pie.

This novel ends with Kalona being released from the Earth and this one marks where stuff really starts to move. Can't wait to jump into the next one.
