This was a great book about addictions. It actually helped me through some of my struggles and i would reccommend it to almost anyone. Her addictions help her become stronger just like ours help us. This book is about the life of a teenager after she started using drugs. After her family moves away, she feels lost and like an outsider in a new city, but she finds a friend and they become the best of freinds. During her summer vacation, she goes to visit her grandparents. there, she's invited to a party and that's where she goes on her first "trip." over the next two years, the book goes on to describe the stuggles she faces because of her intake with drugs.

This is a really good book but very scary because its a true story. i would recomend it to anyone 14+

WOW!!! i read Go Ask Alice for my health class, and i thought it was an excellent book!!! it reaches out to you and goes beyond what you would think a 14 year-old girl would do! i'm disappointed to hear that some of the other reveiwers didn't like it.... i give it two thumbs up. The reality is very terrifying because it's a real diary of a girl who didn't make it out of high school on accont of drugs and pressure!!! i thought it was a great read!!

After someone spikes her drink, this soon-to-be drug addict drinks it without noticing until it’s too late. Just one drink, and her life was changed forever.

Low-self esteem is only one among many factors that made this teenager enter into the world of drugs and danger. Suffering through addiction, the drug-addict runs from home, living in a dangerous world. Brutal words and actions hurt this teen, and she finally returns home after a torturous, hard time, hoping to quit drugs and live a more normal life. But the rest of her life will be like a roller-coaster ride. How will this story end? Drug-free? Or tragic? Read to find out!

It’s sad to see people getting so addicted to drugs, and ruining their life. This was based on a true story that showed the devastating effects of drugs. Hopefully, Go Ask Alice will inspire more kids and people to stay away from drugs.

The book Go Ask Alice is about a teenage girl that drinks. She was invited to a party with one of her friends from her old school. When she was at the party they were playing a game and the soda she was drinking had alcohol in it. What she did not notice was that she was getting drunk at the time and past out that was only her first time drinking and not her last. This is areally good book for kids to read so that they learn how brinking is bad.

Go ask alice is a great book. It is about a girl who moves to a new town, and doesnt have a lot of friends. when she sees someone that she knew from where she used to live, and they invite her to a party she goes. At the party, she uses drugs for the first time without knowing at first. After that, she promises herself that she will never use drugs again. But it is hard to stop once she has started. It is a very sad book, especially the ending. it is very realistic and shows the kinds of problems that people really go through.

This book follows the life of Alice, a girl under the pressure of the world of drugs. It can be scary, but Alice is so real. SOmetimes I wanted to just shake her and say: Stop making the wrong decisions. Stay away from drugs!. It was very sad seeing her getting caught int he world of drugs and drug users. I felt bad for her family and all the ehart break they had to go through, too, with her running away. It's a great read and really shows reality through a teenage girls point of view. A must read! And it's fast.

Wow! This book was deffinatly eye opening. It's such a heartbreaker and a journey. You go through Alice's life. You become her friend and you watch her fall, fall hard. It's really eye opening and deffinatly a book for everyone. It taught me alot about the true dangers of drugs and especially the struggle to stay clean. The terrifying part of the book was knowing this really happens. It's scarey.

This book was soooo good but my mom didn't like me reading it because she had read it when my older sister read it and since the subject matter was kinda a mature topic to think about she didn't want me reading it, but it was good. I definetly think they need to rasie the age from 12 to 14. This book made me cry.
