Despite having been debunked for a quarter-century, this tripe is still being touted as real?

I've known "real druggies", and none of them acted like this whacked-out stereotype.

Beatrice needs to update her catalog and write a new book entitled: "Bill's Blog: Fantasies of a Cyber-Sex Addict".

I am available for consultation whenever Beatrice is.

Go ask Alice is one of the best books I have ever read. If you think your life sucks read "Alice's" diary. It pulls you into the life of a regualar teenager who starts useing drugs and can't stop. Her diary is so truthfull, honest and real to life you will be amazed by the things she says and does.
Once you start reading it it is almost impossible to put down.

This is a decent book it is about a girl who has a hard life.it is in diary form telling about how she didnt get out of high school because she got involved with drugs.it also tells about the pressure she was put under to do it and and because of it.i think people need to read this book even if they dont likeit because I learned a lot from it. I think others will to if they take to time to read it.

WOW!!! i read Go Ask Alice for my health class, and i thought it was an excellent book!!! it reaches out to you and goes beyond what you would think a 14 year-old girl would do! i'm disappointed to hear that some of the other reveiwers didn't like it.... i give it two thumbs up. The reality is very terrifying because it's a real diary of a girl who didn't make it out of high school on accont of drugs and pressure!!! i thought it was a great read!!

Has anyone looked up Beatrice Sparks, the supposed editor? Go Ask Alice has its ingenuine moments, but if you want proof that everything this woman touches is fiction then look up Jay's Journal. Seriously, even the publishers have been categorizing Go Ask Alice as fiction since the late eighties. I admit, some of it seems very real, however the heavily dogmatic prose kinda tipped me off. She even admitted in an interview she heavily revised and even added events.

After someone spikes her drink, this soon-to-be drug addict drinks it without noticing until it’s too late. Just one drink, and her life was changed forever.

Low-self esteem is only one among many factors that made this teenager enter into the world of drugs and danger. Suffering through addiction, the drug-addict runs from home, living in a dangerous world. Brutal words and actions hurt this teen, and she finally returns home after a torturous, hard time, hoping to quit drugs and live a more normal life. But the rest of her life will be like a roller-coaster ride. How will this story end? Drug-free? Or tragic? Read to find out!

It’s sad to see people getting so addicted to drugs, and ruining their life. This was based on a true story that showed the devastating effects of drugs. Hopefully, Go Ask Alice will inspire more kids and people to stay away from drugs.

This book is an astounding peice of art that really taught me that drugs are no way of getting out of things, or "escaping" your problems. And even though things may seem out of place at certain times, anything is better than harming yourself with something as poisenouss and unhealthy as drugs.

This book was very interesting. The whole topicon drugsand sex is really similar to what happens topeople in real life. We gave it a 3 because some parts got boring and confusing.
