This is a simple board book focusing on counting from 1-10. The pictures are vibrant and high quality giving it the same feel as the cartoon it is based upon. Each page has a sentence that an adult will need to read to get the storyline, but a child independently could pick up and count the objects on each page since they are not hidden. I like that the number is written on each page along with a concrete representation of the number to help preschool kids connect the two ideas. Overall, this book is age appropriate and supports early number counting and reading numbers 1-10.
