Larger-than-life bugs spring from the pages, peek out from behind flaps, and hide under tabs, inviting young entomologists to marvel at the mind-boggling variety of arthropod life. What reader can resist a chance to look inside a cockroach’s body to see how it works or open a wasps’ nest to see what’s inside? Useful information (why does the world need bees?) and scientific trivia (which beetles are strongest and fastest?) pack every page, while exquisite art and dramatic pop-ups bring the world of bugs to teeming life.

Have you ever wondered about the life of a bug? Or wonder how bugs work or live? Then this book is the book for you!

With realistic pictures and pop-up pictures, and tons of facts on insects, spiders, and other creepy-crawlers, this book is a stunning addition to any library. I'm not a hug fan of bugs, but they are fascinating. I have two young boys and they were quite taken with this book. My 6 year old is obsessed with all types of animals, and we had to read every single fact in the book and he is able to remember most of it.

This book is not only an educational read, but a fun read as well. I learned more things about a cockroach than I ever wanted to know. This is a book we will read over and over again in our household!
