Meant to be or not meant to be . . . that is the question.
It’s one thing to fall head over heels into a puddle of hazelnut coffee, and quite another to fall for the—gasp—wrong guy. Straight-A junior Julia may be accident prone, but she’s queen of following rules and being prepared. That’s why she keeps a pencil sharpener in her purse and a pocket Shakespeare in her, well, pocket. And that’s also why she’s chosen Mark Bixford, her childhood crush, as her MTB (“meant to be”).
But this spring break, Julia’s rules are about to get defenestrated (SAT word: to be thrown from a window) when she’s partnered with her personal nemesis, class-clown Jason, on a school trip to London. After one wild party, Julia starts receiving romantic texts . . . from an unknown number! Jason promises to help discover the identity of her mysterious new suitor if she agrees to break a few rules along the way. And thus begins a wild goose chase through London, leading Julia closer and closer to the biggest surprise of all: true love.
Because sometimes the things you least expect are the most meant to be.

Lauren Morrill grew up in Maryville, TN, where she was a short-term Girl Scout, a (not so) proud member of the marching band, and a trouble-making editor for the school newspaper.
She graduated from Indiana University with a major in history and a minor in rock & roll, and now lives in Macon, GA with her husband and their dog, Lucy.

I’d like to think everyone has a meant to be 🙂
I might be a bit cynical but I don’t think so. I think you can find people you get along with and love but I don’t think there is a cosmic craziness and that there is only 1 person you are meant to be with.

I don’t think so. I think there can be a couple of options for everyone and we end up with someone based on our choices. I also believe that two dedicated people can make any relationship work and can love each other.
I do believe it yes! I was married then divorce. The first marriage was not my “one”. But the guy I am marrying now is and always will be!

I think that we all make choices, but there are times in our lives when we’re meant to be aligned with one person. My grandmother, while widowed at a young age, was fortunate to have more than one soulmate.
I don’t think so. I don’t believe in just one right person. Love is a choice. Everyday I CHOOSE my husband. Maybe that doesn’t sound romantic to some that believe in fate or just one person, but I think it’s terribly romantic. 🙂

I think everyone has a “meant to be” I found mine….everyone can. And it’s usually when you stop looking that fate sends you “the sign”. 🙂
Not everyone, but I think that if you pray hard enough, you will find your “meant to be” with person.

I want to believe that
I believe that there is someone out for everyone, but I don’t believe that there is just one right person that we’re meant to be with.
I think that everyone should have the chance to find someone they want be be with. I think, like a “soul mate,” you could have a “meant to be” but I don’t think that there is only [i]one[/i] person out there for you. I believe that there is someone out there for everyone, but that doesn’t mean there is only one person that is the best for you. Sometime’s it’s good to see how things go and cherish things for the moment.

Nope. I think who you end up with is who you make it work with, and they become your “meant to be.”

I want to believe that everyone has a meant to be.
I’d like to think that everyone has a “meant to be” but I don’t really believe it. I think there are maybe people who are supposed to be in our lives for a period of time or a string of events, but I don’t know how much I go for the idea of having one person meant to be yours forever and ever. It’s a nice idea to read about though!
