Nicholas sparks is the most intellegent writer most likely known to man. Really...if he can become a 17 year old boy again and put that much thought and heart into just one book and make it so BEAUTIFUL, then I say that you can truly call him amazing.
Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan take an adventure to all their hopes and dreams in this heartwarming and wonderful story about two teenage kids from two different worlds that in some way possible and every way possible fall in love. They teach each other things they didn't know they could ever learn. Keep reading as their love and friendship builds and falls apart in so many ways.
this book is a garunteed way to wet your tear ducts!  :'-(

A Walk to Remember-now, don't watch the movie than read the book, they are TOTALLY DIFFERENT!
A Walk to Remember is a book about a seventeen year old boy named Landon, who is rich and kind of a rebebl of his time. He falls in love with Jamie, a preacher's daughter, and of course, fate doesn't like it.
This book made me cry, really hard, but in all it is a great one. It is about true love and how things end up not how you planned or hoped, but are okay. I love this book!

Most people can relate to losing a loved one, whether it's a parent, a grandparent, a sibling, or a significant other. A Walk To Remember is a book that takes you on a journey through the life of Jamie, a young teen who has cancer. A Walk to Remember is a tragic story of love and loss; one that will leave you feeling empty and sad.

Jamie, a young lady with cancer, has fallen in love, but how to tell him of her dangerous cancer and that she is to die in only a short matter of time? he would be devistated!

this story about a girl and a boy's love and of them being ripped apart is a very good one and is recommended to many

I like how this book is done by the author looking back at his life, and telling his story. It is a very sad story but a great one.The best thing about it was that the end was left up to the reader. If you wanna know what I mean read this book and you will see.

A Walk to Remember is a book that is beautifully written by Nicholas Sparks. This book is about a teenage girl who's father is a preacher and is very over-protectice. She meets the town rebel, who she gets to show his true caring side. He falls in love with her, but finds out that she has cancer, and that she does not have much more time to live. He then, decides to marry her, asking her father's permission, they get married. Which not much later, she passes away, and years later he still can't force himself to remove the ring that binds them together. For richer or poorer, and till death do they part. I highly recommend that you read this book, it made me cry, it was sad and uplifting all at once.

I thought this book was awesome, and the movie was good, too. However, I wish the movie would have stay true to the book. But, I guess that never happens.

Landon had known Jamie his whole life, but only in his senior year did he start to notice her. She was the Reverands daughter and walked around school with the Bible, so she wasn't too popular. Landon was pressured into running for Class President by his father. After winning, some school things were mandatory, like Homecoming dance. Landon had waited too long to ask someone and after asking everygirl he knew to no avail, he finally decided his last choice was Jamie, even though he'd be made fun of, it'd be worse to go alone and he knew Jamie wouldn't refuse. She was too nice. After the dance, Landon was quiet surprised to admit he had a good time, but of course he wouldn't admit it to his friends. Over the next few months, Landon spent more and more time with Jamie and had begun to fall in love with her, but there was one little thing in their way, Jamie was dying. And so begins Landons struggle with accepting the fact the first girl he had ever loved was going to die and trying to find a way to show her how much he loved her before his time was up.
