A Bucket of Questions

‘A Bucket of Questions’ by Tim Fite has a lot of ridiculous questions and notions scattered throughout its pages. There are real questions asked and silly answers provided for each. While someone who really wants to know the answer to a question such as “Why do kids lose their teeth?” or “what is at the bottom of the ocean?” may be frustrated by the lack of real answers, they will also be compelled by the sheer ridiculousness of the responses that are provided instead.

Full of interesting illustrations and chock full of tons of curiosities, there are multiple choice answers that will make readers think twice about their answers and question what they know and don’t know. The black and white pages, with a couple that contain color thrown in for good measure, enhance the quirky nature of the book, allowing readers to fall into the world that the author has created, full of weird questions, crazy answers, and endless possibilities about what other questions, answers, and everything in between will come into play as each individual reader’s thought process gets the best of them.

One of the funniest pages in the book comes in the form of a question about why the book is so black and white, leading to one of the answers that relates how it may be because the author’s miniature zebra needs somewhere to hide, and then requests that the reader find said zebra. The book is a testament to a child’s imaginative tendencies and crazy questions that sometimes end up being more thought-provoking than one could have imagined.
