Review Detail

What an amazing story! When I picked it up today to start reading it, a thought briefly crossed my mind to finish it today as well, not really believing that would happen. But it did! I could not put it down, I loved Gen, he was an entertaining and funny narrator for the story. I truly cared for what happened and felt his indignation when he was wronged. I found the myths fascinating to read about and it created more of a history for the world the author created, which made the book more believable. I have to admit, I never saw the end, I didn't guess it in the least! I loved it! The perfect ending to the book.

My only complaint is a wish for a map, I sometimes had trouble envisioning where everything was in relation to each other and at the beginning it was hard to keep track of which country was which. Though by the end that confusion was all worked out, fortunately.
