I grew up reading the stories of The Berenstain Bear Family and now I enjoy reading those same books to my own children. Hospital Friends gives children a tour of the hospital and the people working there. Nothing is scary or overwhelming for young readers.

The language is kid-friendly and illustrations are still the same classic pictures we remember. This is a great book to have on hand for a community helpers unit in an early childhood classroom. There are brief introductions to a lot of different people and their jobs.

The bonus part of buying this particular Berenstain Bear book is that the proceeds go towards a charitable organization to help children.
