This is one of the best books I've ever read! I love how the author writes with such descriptive words! The second you start reading it, you can't stop! The characters are amazing and you can easily relate to their personalities! It's a superb book, and I recommend it to any girl (or boy) who wants a fun read.

Ella, Beth, and Jamie are cousins spending the summer with their family at Pebble Beach. Along with the beach and parties come the boys. Boys that will either make the girls' summer or ruin them completely. Jamie is finally getting to see her boyfriend that she met at Pebble Beach the summer before, but he isn't as excited to see her as she is to see him. Beth is spending the summer with her best friend, George, who is looking awfully good this summer. Ella is hunting for a new guy - and can't stop looking at her sister's boyfriend. Whatever happens, this summer will change the girls forever.

I really liked this book because it seemed very grounded and real. All that was happening in the book could happen to me or someone that I knew. Even though each cousin had a trait that I didn't like, and many that I couldn't even relate too, I found myself pulling for each of them. Boys can be pesky and these girls know it. I'm not sure that some younger girls should read this; it probably depends on the girl's maturity level and knowledge of sex, etc. I don't think my mum would like my junior high sister to read this book, but it's not too racy (Just enough in fact).

this book is about 4 cousins that meet up with each other every summer at Pebble Beach. Each of them are going through their own troubles throughout the summer.

Ella is very sexy and could get any boy she wants. she meets Peter and decides she wants him for herself but then finds out he is her sister's boyfriend. she tries her best to stop thinking about him but next thing she knows HE is flirting with her making it harder to resist him. she ends up hooking up with him ( if you know what i mean)behind her sister's back the same night her sister breaks up with him. BIG TROUBLE!

Beth is best friends with George. This summer just like any other they are hanging out together. they are always together. but George meets a very sexy girl and starts hanging out with her making Beth inexplicably jealous. Beth is confused about her feelings about Geroge. next thing you know she steals his clothes when he is skinny dipping and realizes she loves him. does he love her?

Jamie has a boyfriend named Ethan. She loves him and feels like everything is perfect between them but he starts acting distant towards her. he ends up breaking up with her. now her perfect summer is ruined. now shes trying to get over him.

What better way to kick off the summer than witha book that has hot guys, restless cousins and a whole beach. Summer boys is narrated by three charcters theres Ella the girl every guy wants but her problem is she wants a guy whos already taken... by her sister! THere Jamie who can't wait to see her boyfriend Ethan after missing him all year but she gets the gist hes keeping somethiung from her and theres Beth who is your averge day tomboy who can't help but get jealous when her long time friend George starts flirting with this beach girl. Is it jealousy or is it love? Is blood thicker than the body of a hot guy? Does love last forever? YOu'll ask yourself this when you read this novel!

On this one I think the author could have did a little better work.for one there isnt much to it.for two it isnt for the younger ones.im not saying dont read it you might like it.for me I thought it was preety bad.i made it through but thats about it.rather boring.the only decent thing about it was there were parts that were relatable to in it.

Summer Boys is an awesome book! Hailey Abbott did a great job on descriptivly describing the drama-packed lives of teenagers. Once you start reading this book, you can't put it down! I think many teenagers like myself can really relate to this book. Every teenager has drama in their lives and this book really gets at what a teenager's life is like. Definately a must read.

This book, it's good, but a little to exempt for younger readers. Honestly, I didn't like the characters much at all, but that's my view. It's a nice beach read, but honestly, I'd like to read a book with more IQ stuffed into it. This one just didn't suffice.

It all has to do with taste I guess, you never know, you might like it.

Wow i really liked this book! i love all the characters. n i think my favourite character is Kelsi, but my own personality is most like Jamie. Everything in Jamie's opinion in my point of view is pretty damn dramatic. and that's pretty much how my own life is like. Especially my love life. So i definitely think a third book should be written. So Kailey Abbott please come out with a third book pretty please?! i look forward to it.
