I think this book was very interesting because when you start reading it, it is almost like you don't want to put it down until you're done. It also doesn't leave you hanging at the end. I think this is a great book to read because it kind of tells you about how life use to be as a black person living in segregation. That is why I think Roll Of Thunder Hear, My Cry is an interesting.

So they both end up getting wopped.Later on,Stacey's, the oldest logan,Best friend T.J., Decides to cheat on a huge test coming up.BUT, he decides to hand the answers over to Stacey, RIGHT before the teachers come to take up the test.Right then and there, POW! Stacey HATES T.J. now! Now T.J. is so mad, that he decides to join a group that gets into to much trouble. In the end it turns out that he gets in so much trouble he has to be hung! Uh oh! so many things happen in a few months.

I honestley think you should only read this book only if you have spare time on your hands. This book takes place in Mississippi where Cassie Logan goes through life with her family without her dad. Along the way she encounters humilation from the whites that are killing and even burning blacks homes and what they hold dearest to themselves thier land .

This book is takes place in Mississippi in 1933 and when the blacks and the whites goes to seprate school. The min character is Cassie Logan. Her mom is a teacher, but gets fired by Granger Harlan. T.J. Avery cheated in a history test and slipped the cheat sheet into Stacey Logan's desk when Ms. Logan came. Stacey got wipped and was really mad at T.J.

T.J. steals a purl pistol he always wanted from a store Mr. Barnett owns. It was really Melvin, and R.W. Avery's idea. When they were caught by Mr. Barnett the white kid killed Mr. Barnett and when T.J. said he was going home they beat him up. That late night, the Walleces came and took T.J., however there was a fire and Mr. Granger told all of them to stop the fire. The fire was really made by David Logan, dad of Cassie, and Mr. Morrison.

Cassie and her brothers, Stacey; Little Man; and Christopher - Jhon, never liked T.J. that much, but she cried in the end because he went to the Jail, even though he didn't kill Mr. Barnett. He was put into the chain Gang and he probably will die was what the dad told them.

Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry is a book that takes place in Mississippi in 1933. It is about a nine-year-old girl named Cassie Logan who gets angry when people treat her differently because she is black. Growing up, it is hard for Cassie to watch white children get better things than her. For example, her school, Great Faith, is for black children. Most of the time black schools didn't even get books, But when they do they are used an all beat up. There are even bad words for black people written in them. There are also good things that happens in her life like having loving parents and three brothers!

Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, is one of my favorite books. It takes place around the 1930's, when the town that The Logan family was still deeply segregated. Through the book, the Logan's experience the prejudice that they always have had against them all their lives, but it grows when a close friend of the family is in a life or death situation. I think that this is a great book, becasue it expresses something that we are not used to.

we read this book in my reading class this year and i absolutely loved it. its a tale of adventures, courage, bravery and finding out who your best friends really are. cassie and her family go through hard time during this civil rights book. they have to go through life living in a place where blacks are hated, the only thing that keeps them going is the land they own. this is a trio by the way and i plan on reading the other 2books.
