After all the brilliant things I had heard about Mostly Good Girls, I was super excited to read. I absolutely loved what I found – it was so much fun to read. I had issues putting it down, and toted it around in my purse with me everywhere. From the actual story to the chapter titles, Mostly Good Girls is sure to give you a ton of laughs.

Mostly Good Girls was definitely your classic story. I really love private school books – they have such a different feel from the public school vibe. Everything there seems exciting and new to me, and I’m always dying to hear more. The story was a lot of fun. I loved hearing about Violet and Katie’s adventures and how they get through their days.

The characters were very believable. I was connecting different characters to students I see in my high school every day. I really liked Violet – she was hilarious. All her snarky comments were really funny.

Another really cool thing about this book was the chapter lengths. Some chapters were only a few pages, and I really liked the varying lengths the chapter could have. While it chops the book up into smaller pieces, I think it really gives it a sense of flow and keeps my attention. The titles themselves are very funny, and will make you guess to figure out what will happen in the chapter.

This is an amazing debut from a talented author. I am anxious to see what Leila Sales will come up with next, and if it’s anything like Mostly Good Girls, it will be brilliant.
