This is my favorite Mortal Instruments book! The series really could have ended here, it was a perfect wrap up of all the characters! But no...sadly, the series is not over.

City of Glass is the last book in the triology set of The Mortal Instruments By Cassandra Clare. All of those unanswered questions finally are answered. Clary is desperate to go to Idris the City of Glass the home country of all shadow hunters to find the answers she needs to pull her mother from the coma that she has been in since Valentine returned and captured her. A new character Sebatian a fellow shadowhunter emerges and is eager to help clary find the answers she needs. With the help of her friends she finds the book that has the secret to wake her mother up but there is no time to celebrate yet. Demons have never been able to enter in the City of Glass because it is protected by towers. Then why are they suddenly everywhere? Killing everything in their path? Only one person could be responsible... Valentine. It is up to Clary to use her newly found wonderful ability to help save all of the shadowhunters. That is as long as everyone cooperates and is willing to be paired up with those that for centuries have hated each other. In the end her mother is back and fills Clary in on everything she didn't know and everyone most come together to defeat Valentine. This is one of the best series I have read in a long time!
