In the Maximum Ride series there are 6 bird kids who grew up in a lab where they were made. They all have wings, different skills, and can kick butt. The bird kids in the flock (their group) are Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, the Gasman, and Angel. In this book Angel gets kidnapped by the people that created the bird kids and thats not a good thing.
