HOW TO DECORATE A CHRISTMAS TREE is a decorating guide that an older sister creates for her younger brother. It includes the in's and out's to decorating a tree. As she pulls out the ornaments, she shares the memory that each one holds and what makes them so special. In the end, she makes sure her brother knows he can help once he's old enough.

The illustrations are so unique in their felt art-style. Each one looks meticulously crafted with beautiful details. I love the family love and values that can be seen both in the text and the pictures. The little girl even addresses family members who can't be with them anymore and I think this is an important addition because loss frequently makes the holidays more difficult. We decorate our Christmas tree with ornaments we've picked up along the way so it made me want to go back and relive memories with my daughter too.

Final Verdict: This book is such a heartwarming story that's perfect to share during the holiday season. I would recommend it to children with siblings and it could even make a great holiday tradition to pull this book out before decorating the tree. It's a great Christmas gift for children with siblings.
