HOW TO BE CONFIDENT IN KINDERGARTEN teaches children how to get through kindergarten with their heads held high. School can be a terrifying new experience for children, especially for those who never went to daycare, and is very intimidating to young minds. Books like these give them the strength to find their own courage and confidence.

The illustrations are inclusive and incorporate children of all different races with a simple art style. Since this book is so small, it can fit in a kindergartener's backpack so they can pull it out in times of need. While the rhyming scheme sometimes feels a bit stiff, the overall message is heard loud and clear in this collections of poems. It's a great resource to help children build their self-confidence, especially when it's easy to get lost in the crowd of new faces.

Final Verdict: I would recommend this to children who are going into kindergarten and are intimidated by the new change. This might encourage them and show them school isn't so bad.
