Usually I like Pullman's books, especially Sally Lockhart, which is excellent...but this one...it's, for mi part, the supreme degree of boredom.
I tried to read it once, stopped after about fifty pages, then took it again, went to the 80th page and then a third time, and I definitely stopped at the 100th.
Really, I can't go over.
But it is only my opinion.

I did not like "the golden compas". The start took too long to go ANYWHERE at all, so it put me in a bad mood for the whole book. However, it was well written, and I did like the author. so I will give it some credit.
