i loved this book! it reminded me of The Clique and the movie Mean Girls, but nastier, sexier, and for older teens. it was sooo good. it was like a chocolate bar you didn't want to finish, and when it was gone, you wanted more. i wanted to read the rest of this series when i was done! i love the character blair. and the author did a really good job of writing it! i finished it in two days. i like how theres a bunch of different characters and theres more than one story going on. i love books like that!!!

Every girl has been there, evry guy too. The world of of drugs, alcohal and sex. GOssip Girl is a great book that talks about differnebt kids living in New York who are rich, popular and can do whatever they want. This book shows how we will act once in our life as a teen. This book is Realistic Fiction. This is what happens when we go deep into the heart of teens and bring out their wild child inside!

Gossip Girl is the best book i have ever had the pleasure of reading it is full of sex, drugs and a little romance thrown in too along with a girl named Blair who is up tight and down right cruel. Then there is Serena Blairs best friend but when Serena comes back all hell breaks loose. Then there is Nate the lax playing pot head who every one wants to do. Blair hasn't but guess who has. Read this book and you will fall in love with Gossip Girl books forever.

THIS BOOK WAS AWESOME!! I for one don't haven't ever been in a big city, so it was awesome that I could read a book that makes me feel like I am in New York. I love how awesome the characters are, and how different their moods are. The book is a page-turner and makes you feel like shopping lol

Everyone has bad experiences and tough lives, and yes, (as difficult as it is to believe) even rich people.
This story is about a whole bunch of different characters in New York (Upper East side and West Side, mostly). Serena is kicked out of boarding and comes back to her old school, hoping to hang out with her best friend Blair once again. However, Blair acts really mean to Serena because no longer is Blair the prettiest girl who gets all the attention. Yes, some of the characters are really self-absorbed, but you can't help but find out what will happen to them next.
The writer's style of writing is so different from what I've ever read, and I've read plenty o' books. The transitions from the inner thoughts of each character will either make you sympathize with them of downright hate them. It's really hard to put down. I would recommend you to read the rest of the series.

I love everything about this book and the two books that follow it, "You know You Love Me" and "Nobody's Perfect." I have all my friends read it, and they love it to. We all DYING for the fourth one to come out sometime in October. In the book, you're able to experience a lifestyle you couldn't imagine and teh author writes as if you were there. I also LOVE how the author writes . As paragraphs change, she also changes the characters feelings and thoughts. so after one character acts one way, you're able to read about the other's reactions to it. The way the author writes always wants you to keep on reading. It's a book no girl should do without!!

This was a really good book, and I enjoyed reading it. But I think it gives the rest of us a bad name. What I mean is, I go to a Prep school in Manhatten, and I think this book showed the very worst of what we are. I mean, even though I don't really have any friends, or any money, I'm sure the rich popular people aren't stuck up at all.
But I likes the book none the less. It was fun to pretend I had friends and money... for a little while at least.
