Phenomenal...really. Books don't often blow me away, most are just quite pleasant to read, but this one is the only exception besides anything by Stephenie Meyer.

I am not comparing Brashares to Meyer, because there is no comparison there. For me, Stephenie will always come out superior.

But Ann's book is not that far behind Stephenie's. This is my favorite book out of the whole series. (The first one is ok, but they just keep getting better and better.) I think this one is where the characters learned the most about themselves. (I am very big on well-rounded characters.)

Also, the little lessons they learned were really quite inpirational. And then the ending - nothing would have fit any better. It was the perfect way...not all the ends were tied up, leaving somethings for you to imagine for yourself, but most of them were pretty much resolved.

Great read - definitely on the top of my list.
