Extreme Survival was an awesome book to read with my kids!

The contents page was really fun! I'd never seen a contents map before , it worked perfectly for this type of book. We travel around the world, as well as space, to learn what it would take to survive these places.
Each location spread has a section for random facts, as well as important tips to remember. A section that stood out to me the most was on ways to help the area we were learning about, i.e. the Arctic Circle, the Desert Islands, the ocean, etc.

While not necessarily projects or activities, there are instructions on making your own trail mix, and igloo, recognizing animal tracks, and more!
There is so much information packed into this book! My kids really liked the section on the future and the different ideas floating around.

The illustration are highly details and colored to fit the location perfectly.

I recommend this book to anyone, young or old, with an interest in extreme survival locations, as well as just an interest in different parts of the world! So excited to have added this to out homeschool shelf!
