When not fending off school bullies, Conrad and his best friend Knowlton are wrapped up in Infinite Destiny, their favorite sci-fi television show. It's no wonder Conrad often dreams about aliens and space chases, but one day the two science fiction geeks discover that these dreams are actual past-life memories.

Long ago Conrad and Knowlton were alien soldiers battling evil forces of Deltran Prime. Now a villain from Conrad's dreams, Cyscope, has come to Earth to track him down. The cruel admiral of the Deltran galactic empire will stop at nothing to find the Shadow Matrix, a monumental object powerful enough to upset the balance of the galaxy . . . and only Conrad knows where it is. With help from Lysta, a psychic, and Pakfrida, a wise spirit from their former lives, the two boys escape the clutches of Cyscope and his Hunters, but can they outrun the galactic enforcers forever?

Conrad Viscous and Knowlton Cabbage are the biggest sci-fi geeks ever. They even dream of space battles, until the day aliens actually start showing up in real life! The space invaders are after a secret from Conrad's past life that could mean the end of the world as we know it, and the answer to stopping them lies deep within Conrad's memories.

Sci-fi geeks of all ages will enjoy seeing author Timothy Carter pay homage to classic space operas as Conrad and Knowlton draw life lessons from their favourite series Infinite Destiny and Infinite Destiny: The New Fate. Carter also examines the ideas of karma and reincarnation with an interesting message about self-knowledge and identity. Though our hero must face the consequences of the behaviour of his previous incarnation Hestar, he realizes that he is now Conrad and must be true to his new self. A humorous and thought-provoking novel that will leave readers hoping for a sequel.
